Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Binary SaaS LLC (“we”, “us”), which runs AppIsland, for using appisland.app and the AppIsland app. By using AppIsland you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
Who can use AppIsland
You must be 13 or older, or older where your country requires it. You’re responsible for what happens in your account, so keep your password to yourself.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive people
You may not make, share or send, in tools, tool names, chats, photos, files or anywhere else in AppIsland, anything that is:
- sexual, or that sexualizes minors in any way;
- hateful, harassing, bullying or threatening, or that promotes violence or self-harm;
- a scam, phishing (for example a fake sign-in page), real-money gambling, or otherwise illegal;
- tracking or collecting other people’s location, contacts or personal data without them clearly knowing;
- someone else’s copyrighted work or trademark that you have no right to use;
- a photo of someone that they haven’t agreed to share, or a file with a virus or other harmful software.
We filter some objectionable words automatically and check photos for sexual content and graphic violence before others can see them. Anyone can report a tool, a message, a photo or a file, and block a person. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules, and we suspend or remove the accounts of people who post it. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as the law requires.
Your tools
Tools are made by you with AI. You own what you make and what you put in it. You let us store, run and show it to you and to the people you share it with, only to provide AppIsland. People join a tool only if they accept your invite.
AppIsland makes simple games, like board, card, word and trivia games, but not complicated games or heavy graphics (for example action, arcade, 3D or physics games). Requests for those are declined.
Tools are provided as they are, without warranties. AI can make mistakes: check what matters, and don’t rely on a tool for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
Photos and files
You can add photos and files to tools, send them in chats, and keep your own in My files. You own them. You let us store them and show them to the people you share them with, only to provide AppIsland, and you confirm you have the right to share them.
- In a tool: everyone in the tool can see them (unless the tool keeps one private to you). They belong to the tool’s group: they stay if you leave or are removed, until you, the tool’s owner or we delete them, or the tool is deleted.
- In a chat: everyone in the chat can see them. They stay until the message is deleted or the chat is cleared.
- In My files: only you can see them. Adding one to a tool or chat puts a copy there.
If a photo or file of you, or with your personal information, was shared somewhere you can no longer delete it, write to us and we’ll look at removing it. Storage has limits that depend on your plan. Don’t rely on AppIsland as your only copy of anything important.
Copyright
If you believe something in AppIsland infringes your copyright, send us a notice at support@binarysaas.com with: your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where the material is in AppIsland (for example the tool’s name and who shared it with you); a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the copyright or may act for its owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove material we’re properly told about. If yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
AI
To build tools and answer questions inside them, what you type, and any photo or recording you choose to use with AI, is sent to our AI providers (Anthropic; Groq for voice). The privacy policy says more.
Premium and purchases
Premium and credits are sold through the App Store and follow its terms. Bought credits don’t expire and can’t be exchanged for money. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your App Store settings. Apple’s standard end user license agreement also applies to the app.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
